Ingredients

✓ 1 1/2 cups sugar
✓ 1 piece egg
✓ 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
✓ 1/2 teaspoon almond extract (Optional)
✓ 1/4 teaspoon salt
✓ Royal icing or fondant, as needed
✓ Sprinkles or edible decorations, as needed

Instructions

✓ Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper

✓ Sift flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt together

✓ Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy
