Ingredients

✓ 1 cup dried hibiscus flowers
✓ 8 cups water
✓ 1/2 to 3/4 cup sugar or sweetener of choice (adjust to taste)
✓ Juice of 1 lime (optional)
✓ Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

✓ In a large pot, combine dried hibiscus flowers with filtered water and bring to a boil.

✓ Simmer the mixture for 5 minutes, then remove from heat and strain through a fine-mesh sieve into another pot or pitcher.

✓ Pour chilled hibiscus tea over ice in glasses and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.

Notes
