Ingredients
✓ 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookies (crushed)
✓ 1/2 cup butter (melted)
✓ 2 cups cream cheese (softened)
✓ 3/4 cup granulated sugar
✓ 1 tsp vanilla extract
✓ 1 cup heavy cream
✓ 1/4 cup cocoa powder (unsweetened)
✓ 1 can cherry pie filling
✓ fresh cherries (optional for garnish)
Instructions
✓ Crush chocolate cookies in a food processor until fine crumbs form
✓ Mix crushed cookies with melted butter until well combined
✓ Press mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to form crust
✓ Beat softened cream cheese until smooth
✓ Add granulated sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until combined
✓ Whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form
✓ Fold whipped cream into cream cheese mixture
✓ Add unsweetened cocoa powder and mix until well incorporated
✓ Pour chocolate cheesecake mixture over prepared crust
✓ Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight
✓ Top with cherry pie filling before serving
✓ Garnish with fresh cherries if desired
