✓ 1 cup gluten free crispy fried onions or crushed gluten free crackers
Instructions
✓ Sauté green beans in olive oil or butter for 3-4 minutes until bright green and slightly softened.
✓ In the same pan, sauté onions and garlic until fragrant.
✓ Add sliced mushrooms and cook until they release moisture and begin to brown.
✓ Stir in gluten-free flour and cook for 30 seconds to remove raw taste.
✓ Gradually whisk in broth, stirring constantly to prevent lumps.
✓ Add milk, salt, pepper, thyme, and paprika.
✓ Simmer until sauce coats the back of a spoon.
✓ Transfer to a baking dish and top with crispy fried onions or crushed crackers.
✓ Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
