✓ 1 cup whole milk or half-and-half
✓ 1 teaspoon salt
✓ ½ teaspoon black pepper
✓ ½ teaspoon dried thyme
✓ ½ teaspoon dried parsley
Instructions
✓ Sauté the aromatics in butter until softened
✓ Add the vegetables and cook until tender
✓ Combine the turkey, sautéed aromatics, and steamed vegetables in a large bowl
✓ Add the flour, broth, milk, salt, pepper, thyme, and parsley, stirring to combine
✓ Roll out the chilled dough to a thickness of about 1/8 inch
✓ Place the dough into a 9-inch pie dish and fill with the turkey and vegetable mixture
✓ Roll out the remaining dough to a similar thickness and use to cover the pie
✓ Crimp the edges to seal the pie and cut a few slits in the top crust
✓ Bake the pie in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is hot and bubbly
Notes
To prevent the crust from becoming too brown, cover the edges with foil or a pie shield during baking
