Ingredients

Instructions

✓ Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.

✓ Add finely chopped onion and garlic, cooking until softened (about 5 minutes).

✓ Add 1 pound ground beef or Italian sausage; cook until fully browned (about 7-8 minutes), breaking up any clumps with a wooden spoon.

✓ In a large bowl, mix 2 cups ricotta cheese with 1 egg until well combined.

✓ Gradually stir in 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese to create a smooth mixture.
