Instructions
✓ Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 12-cup muffin tin with cupcake liners.
✓ Whisk together dry ingredients in a large bowl.
✓ Whisk together wet ingredients in another bowl.
✓ Combine wet and dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
✓ Add boiling water to the batter, mixing until smooth.
✓ Divide batter among cupcake liners.
✓ Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
✓ Allow cupcakes to cool completely.
✓ Remove a small portion from the center of each cupcake.
✓ Fill the hole with caramel sauce.
✓ Make the frosting by beating butter and adding cocoa powder and powdered sugar alternately with milk.
✓ Frost the cupcakes with chocolate frosting.
