Ingredients
✓ 1 cup granulated sugar
✓ 1/2 cup light corn syrup
✓ 1/4 cup water
✓ 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
✓ 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
✓ 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
✓ Combine sugar, corn syrup, and water in a saucepan.
✓ Cook over medium heat until the mixture reaches 250°F (hard ball stage).
✓ Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and nuts if using.
✓ Pour into a greased pan and let cool completely.
✓ Melt chocolate chips and spread over the top of the fudge.
✓ Cut into squares and serve.
Notes
Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks. Keep away from heat and humidity.
