Instructions
✓ Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
✓ In a small bowl, mix softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
✓ Slice each bread slice in half horizontally to create a pocket.
✓ Fill each pocket with the cream cheese mixture.
✓ Whisk together eggs, milk, cinnamon, and brown sugar to make the egg mixture.
✓ Dip each stuffed bread slice into the egg mixture, coating both sides.
✓ Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
✓ Cook the coated slices in the skillet until golden brown on both sides.
✓ Transfer to a baking sheet and place in the oven for 5 minutes to warm through.
✓ Serve immediately with powdered sugar, maple syrup, or fresh berries.
