Description
The following ingredients are needed to make Tuscan Sunset Bruschetta:
Ingredients
- 4-6 baguette slices
- 3 cloves of garlic, peeled and minced
- 1 pint of cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/4 cup of fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 8 oz of fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
- 1/4 cup of balsamic glaze
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices and place on a baking sheet.
- Drizzle the olive oil over the bread slices and sprinkle with minced garlic. Toss to coat the bread evenly.
- Bake the bread in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until it is toasted and lightly browned.
- While the bread is baking, prepare the topping. In a medium bowl, combine the halved cherry tomatoes, chopped basil, and sliced mozzarella cheese.
- Once the bread is ready, remove it from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Rub the garlic cloves over the toasted bread slices, then top each slice with a spoonful of the tomato and mozzarella mixture.
- Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the top of each bruschetta, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the Tuscan Sunset Bruschetta immediately, garnished with additional basil leaves if desired.
Notes
For the best results, use high-quality ingredients and let the bruschetta sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before serving. You can also toast the baguette slices in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for 2-3 minutes, or until lightly browned, for a crisper texture.
