Description

The following ingredients are needed to make Tuscan Sunset Bruschetta:


Ingredients

  • 4-6 baguette slices
  • 3 cloves of garlic, peeled and minced
  • 1 pint of cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup of fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 8 oz of fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 1/4 cup of balsamic glaze
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices and place on a baking sheet.
  2. Drizzle the olive oil over the bread slices and sprinkle with minced garlic. Toss to coat the bread evenly.
  3. Bake the bread in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until it is toasted and lightly browned.
  4. While the bread is baking, prepare the topping. In a medium bowl, combine the halved cherry tomatoes, chopped basil, and sliced mozzarella cheese.
  5. Once the bread is ready, remove it from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Rub the garlic cloves over the toasted bread slices, then top each slice with a spoonful of the tomato and mozzarella mixture.
  6. Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the top of each bruschetta, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve the Tuscan Sunset Bruschetta immediately, garnished with additional basil leaves if desired.

Notes

For the best results, use high-quality ingredients and let the bruschetta sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before serving. You can also toast the baguette slices in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for 2-3 minutes, or until lightly browned, for a crisper texture.
