Ingredients

1 (28–32 oz) bag frozen tater tots

1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

⅓ cup pizza sauce (or marinara)

1520 slices pepperoni

Optional: dried oregano, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, or fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer in a 10–12 inch oven-safe skillet or baking dish.

  3. Bake for 20–25 minutes until the tots are golden and starting to crisp.

  4. Mash the tots down gently with the back of a spatula or flat measuring cup to form a solid crust.

  5. Return to the oven and bake for another 5–7 minutes to firm up and crisp the bottom.

  6. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the crust.

  7. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and top with pepperoni slices.

  8. Add any optional seasonings like oregano or garlic powder.

  9. Bake for another 10–12 minutes until the cheese is fully melted and bubbling.

  10. Let cool slightly, then garnish with parsley or red pepper flakes if desired.

  11. Slice and serve hot!

Notes

Want to switch things up? Try adding sautéed mushrooms, bell peppers, or cooked sausage for variety.

To make it vegetarian, skip the pepperoni and pile on your favorite veggies!
