Description

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons of kaya (coconut jam)

Instructions

  1. Toast the slices of bread until golden brown.
  2. Spread butter on one side of each slice while still warm.
  3. Spread kaya generously over the buttered side of two slices.
  4. Place the remaining slices on top to form sandwiches.
  5. Cut the sandwiches into halves or quarters.
  6. Soft-boil the eggs by placing them in boiling water for about 5-7 minutes.
  7. Serve the kaya toast with the soft-boiled eggs, seasoned with soy sauce and white pepper if desired.
