Ingredients
- 500g ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 cups mashed potatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned.
- Add the chopped onion and diced carrots to the skillet and cook until the vegetables are tender.
- Stir in the tomato paste, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
- Simmer the mixture for 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
- Transfer the beef mixture to a baking dish.
- Spread the mashed potatoes evenly over the beef mixture.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the mashed potatoes.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
