Description

This Pizza Bacon Cheeseburger with Fries is the ultimate comfort food mash-up—juicy beef patties layered with melty mozzarella, crispy bacon, mini pepperoni, and warm pizza sauce, all tucked into a toasted bun with crispy fries both inside and on the side. It’s everything you crave in one messy, delicious bite!

Ingredients

2 beef burger patties (¼ lb each)

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 slices mozzarella or provolone cheese

4 slices cooked bacon

1520 mini pepperoni slices

¼ cup pizza sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Dried oregano or Italian seasoning, to taste

1 burger bun (toasted)

French fries (frozen or homemade), cooked

Optional: ketchup, for inside or serving

Instructions

Season and cook the burger patties:
Sprinkle the patties with salt and pepper. Cook on a skillet or grill over medium-high heat for 3–4 minutes per side, or until they reach your preferred doneness. In the last minute, add a slice of cheese to each patty and let it melt.

Warm the pizza topping:
In a small saucepan over low heat, warm the pizza sauce. Stir in a pinch of dried oregano or Italian seasoning, then add the mini pepperoni and heat through until slightly crisp at the edges.

Toast the bun (optional but recommended!):
Toast the bun in a pan or toaster for a golden crunch—it adds so much texture!

Assemble your burger:
On the bottom bun, add a layer of cooked fries. Top with one cheesy patty, then layer on 2 bacon slices. Add the second patty, then spoon the warm pepperoni pizza sauce over the top. Add a few more fries inside if you’re feeling bold!

Finish and serve:
Place the top bun on, give it a gentle press, and serve with extra fries and ketchup on the side. Dive in!

Notes

Cheese Swap: Mozzarella brings the pizza vibes, but pepper jack adds a spicy twist!

Buns Matter: Brioche, pretzel, or ciabatta all work if you want to level up the texture.

Make It Veggie: Use plant-based patties, dairy-free cheese, and veggie pepperoni for a vegetarian version.

Prep Tip: Cook the bacon and fries ahead of time to make assembly fast and easy when hunger strikes.

Messy is expected: Have napkins nearby—this burger’s got sauce, cheese, and fries everywhere, and we wouldn’t have it any other way!
