Ingredients

  • 4 ripe peaches, pitted and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 8 cups water
  • 4 black tea bags
  • 1/4 cup honey or to taste
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices for garnish
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring water to a boil.
  2. Add the sliced peaches and grated ginger to the boiling water.
  3. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and add the tea bags. Let them steep for 5 minutes.
  5. Remove the tea bags and strain the mixture to remove the peach slices and ginger.
  6. Stir in honey while the tea is still warm, adjusting to taste.
  7. Let the tea cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.
  8. Serve over ice, garnished with lemon slices and fresh mint leaves.
