Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup fine semolina
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 cup warm water
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, semolina, salt, and sugar.
- Gradually add warm water, kneading until a smooth dough forms.
- Divide the dough into small balls and let them rest for 15 minutes.
- Mix the melted butter and oil in a small bowl.
- On a lightly oiled surface, flatten each dough ball into a thin circle.
- Brush the surface with the butter-oil mixture.
- Fold the dough into a square, brushing with more butter-oil mixture as you fold.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and cook each msemen until golden brown on both sides.
- Serve warm with honey or jam.
