Description

Honey Sriracha Brussels Sprouts are a delicious roasted veggie side dish that combines the sweetness of honey with the heat of Sriracha, creating a perfect balance of flavors.


Ingredients

  • 500g Brussels sprouts, halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  4. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are tender and slightly crispy.
  5. While the Brussels sprouts are roasting, mix honey, Sriracha sauce, soy sauce, and garlic powder in a small bowl.
  6. Remove the Brussels sprouts from the oven and drizzle the honey Sriracha mixture over them, tossing to coat evenly.
  7. Return the Brussels sprouts to the oven and roast for an additional 5 minutes.
  8. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.

  • Adjust the amount of Sriracha to your heat preference.
  • For extra crunch, add chopped nuts like almonds or walnuts.
