Description

Ingredients

  • Salt to taste


Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring the water to a boil.
  2. Gradually add the barley flour to the boiling water, stirring continuously to prevent lumps.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and continue stirring until the mixture thickens to a porridge-like consistency.
  4. Add salt to taste and mix well.
  5. Remove from heat and transfer the genfo to a serving bowl.
  6. Make a well in the center of the genfo and pour the spiced butter into the well.
  7. Serve hot, allowing each person to mix the butter into their portion of genfo.
