Easy Smash Burger Tacos are a quick and delicious twist on traditional beef tacos, combining the flavors of a smash burger with the convenience of a taco.


Ingredients

  • 500g ground beef
  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1/2 cup pickles, sliced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon mustard


Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the vegetable oil.
  2. Divide the ground beef into 8 equal portions and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Place each portion of beef onto the skillet and press down with a spatula to flatten into a patty.
  4. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
  5. While the beef is cooking, warm the tortillas in a separate pan or microwave.
  6. In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard to make the sauce.
  7. Assemble the tacos by placing a beef patty on each tortilla, followed by cheese, lettuce, tomato, and pickles.
  8. Drizzle the sauce over the top and serve immediately.
