Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Chopped parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until the onion is translucent.
  2. Add the ground beef to the skillet, cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, bring to a simmer.
  4. Reduce heat to low, stir in the sour cream, and season with salt and pepper. Cook until heated through.
  5. Meanwhile, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  6. Serve the beef mixture over the cooked egg noodles, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

  • For a thicker sauce, mix 1 tablespoon of flour with the beef broth before adding to the skillet.
