Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and boiled
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Mash the boiled potatoes with milk, butter, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.
  4. Add the ground beef and paprika, cooking until the beef is browned.
  5. Take a scoop of mashed potatoes and flatten it in your hand, place a spoonful of beef mixture in the center, and fold the potatoes around it to form a ball.
  6. Place the stuffed potato balls on a baking sheet and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, you can fry the potato balls before baking.
  • Serve with a side of sour cream or your favorite dipping sauce.
