Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • Vegetable oil for frying


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Dip fish fillets in buttermilk, then coat with the flour mixture.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and fry the fish until golden and crispy.
  4. In another bowl, combine cabbage, lime juice, mayonnaise, and honey to make the slaw.
  5. Warm the tortillas in a pan or microwave.
  6. Assemble the tacos by placing a piece of fish on each tortilla, topped with slaw.
  7. Serve immediately with lime crema on the side.
