Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 can (10.75 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 package (32 ounces) frozen tater tots
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat until the beef is browned and the onion is tender. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the condensed cream of mushroom soup and sour cream into the beef mixture. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Transfer the beef mixture to a 9×13 inch baking dish. Spread it evenly across the bottom.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the beef mixture.
- Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer on top of the cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
