- 1 cup of cooked black beans
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons of Salsa Lizano (or Worcestershire sauce as a substitute)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and red bell pepper, sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Add the cooked black beans to the skillet and stir to combine with the vegetables.
- Stir in the cooked rice, mixing well with the beans and vegetables.
- Add Salsa Lizano and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until everything is heated through.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro if desired and serve hot.
