Description

Ingredients

  • 200g macaroni pasta
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the macaroni pasta according to package instructions and drain.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Gradually add the milk, whisking continuously until the mixture thickens.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Combine the cooked pasta with the cheese sauce and mix well.
  8. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle the breadcrumbs evenly on top.
