Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the mashed bananas with melted butter.
  3. Add sugar, egg, and vanilla extract to the banana mixture and stir until well combined.
  4. Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture and mix in.
  5. Add the flour and cinnamon, stirring until just incorporated.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  8. Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
