- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine cooked rice, broccoli florets, cheddar cheese, cream of mushroom soup, and milk. Mix well.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Melt the butter and mix it with the breadcrumbs.
- Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the casserole.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is heated through.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute cream of mushroom soup with cream of chicken soup if preferred.
- For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
