  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup panko crumbs
  • 1 cup hot sauce
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, water, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  3. Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, allowing any excess to drip off, then coat with panko crumbs.
  4. Place the coated florets on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, turning halfway through.
  5. In a small saucepan, combine the hot sauce and melted butter over low heat, stirring until well combined.
  6. Remove the cauliflower from the oven and toss with the hot sauce mixture until evenly coated.
  7. Return the cauliflower to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes until crispy.
